Lemon launched a new android 3D smartphone

Indian smartphone manufacturer Lemon Mobiles has launched its 3D smartphone the Aspirational A3. The smartphone is available in the market for Rs 12,000.

The smartphone comes with 3D support and has a 4.3-inch qHD resolution IPS display with 540 x 960 pixel resolution. The device has a 1GHz dual-core processor with 1GB of RAM.

It has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash, a 2 MP front-facing camera and runs on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich. It has a 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.

The device has a 1,640mAh battery that the company claims can deliver up to 7 hours of talk time and 250 hours of standby time.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra to hit stores on 2 Aug

Sony India launched the Xperia Z Ultra phablet in India for Rs. 46,990. The Xperia Z Ultra has a 6.4-inch display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels and 344 ppi pixel density. The smartphone will be hitting store in India from August 2 and will be available in multiple colors including Black, White and Purple.

In spite of its large size, the Xperia Z Ultra is relatively slim at 6.5 mm and weighs about 212 grams. The Xperia Z Ultra is IP57 certified to be dust and water proof and water resistant up to a depth of 1 meter and up to 30 minutes. The Xperia has Triluminos display technology which Sony claims results in colors looking rich and natural.

The Xperia Z Ultra comes with internal storage of 16GB and supports microSD cards up to 64GB. The phablet has a 2GB of RAM, a 2.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor. It supports 3G, Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi Hotspot, DLNA and Bluetooth 4.0.

The smartphone also comes with capability to let users write and sketch with any pencil and selected stylus or pen (capacitive stylus or metal pen with tip diameter over 1mm).

Xperia Z Ultra has an 8MP Exmor RS rear camera that can shoot 1080p videos at 30 fps and a front-facing 2MP camera for video chats. Sony Xperia Z Ultra runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) and has a Lithium Ion 3050 mAH battery.

Micromax’s launched Bling 3 A86

After the successful launch of its Canvas 4 earlier this month, Micromax has now introduced a new handset, Bling A86, with a price tag of Rs. 9,599. The phone has crystal studded keys and marble finish look. The phone is available on Snapdeal.com for Rs 9,599. The home screen button is coated with Swarovski zirconia crystals.

The phone runs on Android v4.1 Jelly Bean, and has a 1 GHz dual-core processor. The Micromax Bling A86 features a 4-inch touchscreen and a 5 megapixel rear camera. It also has a 0.3 megapixel front camera.

While Micromax has not revealed the internal memory of the smartphone, the phone does have a microSD slot with a 32 GB limit. The phone is packed with a 1600 mAh battery.

The phone supports Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and has a Gravity Sensor.

Karbonn launched A1 Star and A5 Star

Handset manufacturer Karbonn Mobiles launched two budget smartphones, the Smart A1 Star and the A5 Star. The Karbonn Smart A1 Star has a price tag of Rs 3,514, while the A5 Star is priced at Rs 4,790. Both the phones are dual-SIM handsets.

The Smart A1 Star has a 3.5-inch display with a resolution of 480 x 320 pixels. This gives it a pixel density of 165 ppi.

The A5 Star also has a 3.5-inch display and the same 480 x 320 pixel resolution.

The Smart A1 Star has a 1GHz processor along with 256MB of RAM and runs on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

The A5 Star runs on  Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It has a 1GHz processor along with 512MB of RAM.

The Smart A1 Star has a 3 megapixel rear camera, and a VGA camera in front.
The A5 Star has a 3.2 megapixel rear camera, but it does not have front-facing camera.

Smart Namo, an Android smartphone for Narendra Modi fans.

Good news for Narendra Modi fans, soon there will be a smartphone dedicated to him.

Smart Namo, an independent body formed by Modi fans, has announced it will soon launch a mobile phone by the same name.

The description on the official website www.smartnamo.com says, ‘We are from land of Gujarat & in electronic smartphone business in China. NAMO stands for Narendra Modi and Next Generation Android Mobile Odyssey’.

As per the brief product specifications posted on the website, the 5-inch SmartNamo smartphone will be powered by a MediaTek MT6589 SoC that includes a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and include Gorilla Glass 2 protection and a 13 megapixel camera.

The phone, according to the website, will be available in four variants with 1GB or 2GB RAM and 16GB or 32GB of internal memory.

Apart from launching the standard version of the device, the group has already starting working on the "Shri Narendra Modi signature edition" handset.

The spokesperson for Smart Namo, Ammeet Desai told The Wall Street Journal that they got the idea for this phone from China itself, where several products like MP3 players and smartphones are sold with branding of the leaders.

While no time line was given for the launch of the device, the group says it the smartphone will be launched "very soon." The report claims that Smart Namo phone will cost Rs 16,000 at launch and have videos as well as apps related to Modi.
